Bill Brickey, a lifetime performing artist, has been a captivating influence on artists and audiences alike in the Chicago scene for years.

His sometimes subtle, sometimes not, infusion of Soul and Funk into the palette of his singer songwriter roots, lend themselves to memorable and thought provoking performances that touch the hearts and souls of his audiences and lifts them out of their seats.

A beloved teacher at the Old Town School of Folk Music, Bill specializes in guiding his students through a vast repertoire of R&B, Classic Rock, and American Folk Music more commonly known these days as Americana. As part of BLT, Wood Bone and Steel he demonstrates his abilities as a songwriter. His vocal work with his gospel/jazz septet Come Sunday is pure, unadulterated, Bill.

As a member of Come Sunday, an amazing gospel-jazz ensemble, Bill continues bringing audience members to their feet with his vocal machinations. Check out some of the “Sound Bytes” from Come Sunday and Steam Shovel to hear some of Bill’s work!
